My name is Matthew Sablan. Welcome to Photowordism! If you’ve somehow found this place without knowing who I am, I’m a mid-30s History and English graduate living in Virginia, originally from Delaware. I’ve played video games since I was a kid, from the NES to PC-era, and I’ve been a Dungeon Master/player and boardgame enthusiast for almost as long. I’ve written fantasy and fiction for NaNoWriMo for years, and if you look hard enough, you can even still find amateur Magic the Gathering strategy and draft articles from me out there.
I’ve also written, either through internships or work, for the Army, Navy and other government and private groups. I also write about events I attend in DC, like Smithsonian lectures.
